Operating under the Georg Landrin brand, the historic company grew to become one of the largest and most renowned confectionery producers in the old Russian Empire. In 1880 Georg Landrin became a Supplier by Special Appointment to the Russian Imperial Court, and by 1883 became one of only two confectionery suppliers to His Imperial Highness the Russian Emperor. In addition to high quality chocolates, candies, and cocoa, Georg Landrin supplied quality biscuits, jam and marmalade as well. With advances in production technology, Landrin adopted some of the most innovative technologies and equipment of its day. Georg Landrin operated a series of its own stores and exported its products to many European and Asian markets. |
